WTJCT Will Long Memorial Scholarship Program
Purpose |
|
| The purpose of the West Texas Junior Champions Tour Scholarship Program is to encourage and |
| promote the attainment of higher education goals for WTJCT members who have demonstrated a high |
| level of academic achievement during high school. |
|
| Eligibility |
|
| Applicants for the WTJCT Scholarship Program must be current members of the WTJCT Junior |
| Golf Tour. The achievements in the WTJCT tour is not part of the selection criteria. |
| Applicants must have completed (or plan to complete) high school prior to September 1, 2010 |
| and must be enrolled (or planning to enroll) as a full time student at an accredited college. |

| Scholarship |
|
| The West Texas Junior Champions Tour Scholarship Program is designed to award a one time |
| cash Scholarship to graduating seniors. The amount of the Scholarship |
| is yet to be determined. |
|
| Selection of ScholarshipWinners |
|
| Scholarship recipients will be selected on the following competitive basis by using a combination |
| of criteria. |
|
| 1. Academic Performance--High School G.P.A. and ACT/SAT test scores. |
| 2. Financial Need |
| 3. Extracurricular Activities |
|
| Scholarship Application |
|
| If you are interested in applying for a WTJCT Scholarship, fill out the entry form and submit by May |
| 15th, 2010. The applicant must complete this form in its entirety and submit it to the West Texas Junior |
| Champions Tour Scholarship Committee by the deadline set above. If the application is not filled out |
|
completely or submitted by the deadline date it will not be considered. Applicants must be a graduating senior in order to apply.
Applicants must be a current WTJCT member to be elgible for this scholarship |

| Scholarship Committee will keep all information supplied to us confidential. |

| Applicant must submit : |
| Your most current high school transcript. The high school transcript must show ACT/SAT test scores. |
|
TRANSCRIPTS must contain your cumulative G.P.A.
|
